A very important contemporary art fair both nationally and internationally that is defined as a proposal close to the public and the reality of the art world. It will bring together around 40 galleries from all over the world, among which Arena Martínez Projects will be present.

This is the first year that Arena Martínez Projects participates in Art Madrid, with the aim of giving greater visibility to artists who share the same values and defend their practice. We will have the presence of 5 artists with different techniques and 3 different generations showing the vitality of abstraction today.

Carlos Cartaxo, a geometric artist whose art is expressed both in paintings and ceramics.

On the other hand, we have Elena Gual who uses a marked and recognisable technique inspired by the image of the interracial woman despite continuing to open up new lines of work and even venturing into abstraction. Her work is characterised by her use of the palette knife and her knowledge of the techniques of Renaissance painters and classical sculpture.

Next, we have Juana González and Papartus, representing two different generations and two ways of painting, the first is characterised by a style that is framed in expressionism, surrealism and narrative figuration, and on the other hand, that of Papartus, where the strong and colourful expressive force allows him, historically, to move between the abstract and the figurative.
