The Lisboa Collection takes us on a Journey into the Mediterranean freshness of the known as the City of the Seven Hills. Its representative colors, the different experiences of the designer around the city have been the starting point to Give rise to unique, colorful pieces with a lot of personality. Pieces that merge art and fashion, crystallizing the basic elements of Portuguese culture and the experiences which our designer lived on her last trip to Lisbon.

The collection is built around the concept “ART IS LOVE” with a clear message: perceive our environment without judging it. “Let’s appreciate the art and beauty of the world like a trip. When we are travelling, we enjoy our environment without judging it, we intend to learn about it and appreciate it” Arena said.

The prints are one of the key points to understand the collection. Each one tells a story and a moment of the journey which has inspired the designer to create her pieces: from the sensations of trying a Belèm cake for the first time to touring the “Barrio Alto” at night with its magic lights and colors; watching the Sunset from the Santa Lucía viewpoint; tour around the “Torre de Belem” with a street artist and listening to Fado music during the visit to the Do Carmo Convent.

The fluid and natural lines have marked the development of the catwalk. The suits became the key pieces of the show, all of them matching with crochet accessories that generated very interesting and dynamic total looks where the contrast of fabrics and colors was appreciated.

They also highlighted more urban garments with this “Artsy” touch so meaningful for the brand, like in jeans and the use of color were key to understanding the “ART IS LOVE” concept, always present during the parade.

The styling of the parade has been directed by the renowned stylist and influencer Mónica Anoz, where the style of the young woman mixed with the artistic environment that characterizes the brand; mixing crochet, painting and Portuguese essence. The chosen shoes, were the ones of the Sveti Stefan brand, which brought trend and comfort to the show, and were made and fabricated in Madrid.

The hairstyles of the event were led with the Team of Isaac Salido, giving it the touch of elegance which you can experience it in their renowned beauty salons in Madrid. In this salons, they have built a multi-brand space where Arena Martinez exhibits its clothes.
